Event Description

As the light of summer begins to shorten, we will retreat for a day to reflect with each other the areas of dark and light in our everyday lives. In the morning, we will use sandplay, a tactile method influenced by depth psychology, to creatively engage our senses in a waking dream. In the afternoon, we will work together to dramatize the scenes we create in our sandplay. Prepare to engage deeply with your imaginations in a safe community devoted to the spirit of creativity.

Coffee/tea and snacks provided.
Lunch on your own.

Register at www.fremontabbey.org/classes. $35. Scholarships available!

Led by Sarah Bania-Dobyns and Jamie Friddle. Art on this page (jester) by Melissa Smith. Jamie is in the pastoral counseling program at Seattle University's School of Theology and Ministry and Sarah is in the transforming spirituality program at the same place.
