This life-affirming retreat offers anyone living with cancer the opportunity to explore what it means to live fully awake and alive while facing serious illness. Mindfulness and stress reduction practices will give you practical, helpful tools to navigate the emotional, psychological, and spiritual challenges of cancer, and provide a foundation that empowers you to live fully in the midst of change and uncertainty.
Who will Benefit?
Anyone with any type of cancer, at any stage, including remission. Living well with illness is a life-long endeavor, and this retreat is designed for those desiring to explore their experience more deeply, in pursuit of personal healing, growth, and transformation.
You will leave with a roadmap for integrating mindfulness practices into your everyday life that will support you in embracing life to the fullest—with all its joys and sorrows!
The facilitators, Erica Rayner-Horn and Elana Rosenbaum, are both cancer survivors as well as psychotherapists and instructors of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program. They bring a rich personal experience to their professional work as mindfulness teachers.
