The Sunyata Association {501(c)(3)} will host the monthly gathering of the CAN Solidarity Beloved Community Initiative (SBCI) “Beloved Communities” on community, environment, social justice, and wellness — on Wednesday March 17, 2010 from 6pm — 8pm.
GGLO, an integrated design firm specializing in Design for the Human Experience, is generously providing their Space at the Steps as co-host for our gatherings in 2010.
GGLO’s Space at the Steps is made available to non-profits and other groups that share our core values of community and sustainable urbanism. By offering Space at the Steps for use by the community, GGLO hopes to promote the kind of spirited discussion and sharing of ideas that will help catalyze the creation of places that benefit both people and the planet. Sharing our space with members of our community supports GGLO’s mission of Design for the Human Experience.
The venue is ideally located in downtown Seattle right off of Harbor Steps, one of the City’s most dramatic and well-used urban open spaces. It can hold an audience of up to 80 people, and is equipped with dedicated digital projection and sound.
CAN International Institute supports compassionate initiatives in cities, towns, counties, states and provinces, regions, nations, universities, faith groups, schools, service groups, and other places where human beings gather.
