 nd Environmental Racism: Learn, Connect, Flourish.\nThe conference wil
 l be held on Saturday May, 12 at Seattle University, 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
  \nThe morning keynote speaker is Yalonda SInde. In 1993 Yalonda hel
 ped spearhead the Community Coalition for Environmental Justice (CCEJ)
 , a grassroots organization in Seattle that gained national recognitio
 n for eliminating two major sources of air pollution and mobilizing lo
 w income communities and communities of color to work together to achi
 eve justice and equality.  The organization also helped form the firs
 t people of color and indigenous people' s northwest environmental jus
 tice network. The lunchtime playnote is The New Wilderness Project, wh
 ich invites participants on a journey where they will be entertained; 
 where they will engage with each other; and connect with diversity, le
 adership and equity through the lens of creative expression. \n We w
