Event Description
This class will provide parenting support and education. Participants will learn, practice and experience compassionate listening weekly.
Alongside this foundation of non-judgmental, heartfelt listening participants will have the opportunity to gain understanding about how to support healthy social and emotional development in their children.
Each weekly session will include a segment on the following topics:
Human Development
Social and Emotional Learning & Resilience
Empathy and Managing Strong Emotions
Conflict Resolution and Transformation
Collaborative Problem Solving
Appreciative Inquiry
Facilitator: Ilene Stark, Just Options
Mediator, Educator, Consultant
Ilene has worked with and on behalf of children and families for more than thirty years. .
Fee: $125.00 - $100 if registered by October 1, 2009
