Dear Friends;
The Islamic Educational Center of Seattle, Bet Alef Meditative Synagogue and Interfaith Community Church are partnering together to bring you an evening of deepening friendships through film and dialogue.
The film, "Arranged," centers on the friendship between an Orthodox Jewish woman and a Muslim woman who meet as first-year teachers at a public school in Brooklyn. Over the course of the year they learn they share much in common - not least of which is that they are both going through the process of arranged marriages.
The film is 90 minutes long. You can read more about it here:
http://www.arranged themovie. com/
We will begin with a reception with light refreshments at 6:30pm and show the film at 7pm.
Following the film viewing we will have a short break and begin our dialogue.
