Event Description

Every year, 100,000 Latino teens flee abuse/violence, abandonment, and poverty in Central America and Mexico, traveling solo across the Mexico-U.S. border. Apprehended by authorities, these teenagers wait in shelters around the U.S. for those willing to open their hearts, homes, and lives to an immigrant youth in need of love, stability, and positive role models. Would you like to learn more about the possibility of providing long-/short-term foster care? Please join us for an Info Night on Monday, June 11. Or think of a friend, relative, colleague, or neighbor who would be moved to embrace this opportunity. Thank you!
