FOUR FAITHS SHABBAT, WORSHIP, DEVOTION, DEEPENING
Join us for an Experiential Exploration of Four Faiths: Jewish Shabbat, Christian Worship, Islamic Devotion and Baha’i Faith Deepening.
Our prayer for this weekend is that we open heartedly explore these four faith traditions more deeply, engage in spiritual practices from traditions other than our own, and experience all this in the sacredness of community!
We are delighted to welcome the Interfaith Amigos as our guides, along with Mohammad Fani and members Seattle Baha’i Faith Community and / or Local Spiritual Assembly.
We begin our exploration
Friday, October 14th (7:30-9:30pm) with Rabbi Ted Falcon leading Jewish Shabbat.
Saturday October 15th (9:00am-4:30pm) we spend the day exploring and deepening our understanding of the Four Faiths through morning presentations and afternoon spiritual exercises.
Jamal Rahman & Mohammad Fani will guide us in Islamic Devotion (11:45am-1:15pm).
Bring a brown bag lunch on Saturday. Please Note: Lunch break will be 1:20-2:00pm to accommodate Muslim prayer time. Light snacks will be provided in the morning.
Sunday October 16th (10:00am) Christian Worship will be led by Pastor Don Mackenzie.
A POTLUCK lunch follows the morning service from 11:30am-12:30pm.
Our final Four Faiths Exploration will be an experience in Baha’i Faith Deepening (12:30-1:30pm) with Bill Griffith.
We will conclude our Four Faiths weekend at 2:00pm.
