Forgiveness is a part of every spiritual path. It is a part of Islam, Christianity, First People’s Spirituality, Buddhism and Judaism, the path of the Baha’i, Humanism. And so many others as well. We’re human beings. We mess up. This need to forgive and be forgiven is universal.
This Sunday, as we seek to honor Yom Kippur, we celebrate Jewish tradition, and delve deeply into the theme of forgiveness: the need to be forgiven by others, and our need to forgive. Rev. Steven Greenebaum will lead the service. Guest Bernadette Pauls will share a Christian perspective.
Please plan both to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the food bank, and also to stay for the potluck sharing of food and fellowship after the service (aprox. from 12:15-1:15)
CAN International Institute supports compassionate initiatives in cities, towns, counties, states and provinces, regions, nations, universities, faith groups, schools, service groups, and other places where human beings gather.
