"Is Greed Good?" The title of our service, of course, is taken from the movie "Wall Street." We like to think of "them" as greedy (Wall Street, bankers, whomever). Yet, in a real sense, our entire culture is based on and perhaps predicated on personal greed. "I need more." Greed is frequently called one of the "seven deadly sins." But, like beauty, it is often in the eye of the beholder. Lots to ponder!
Join us for a service, at potluck with discussion afterwards. Please consider bringing a non-perishable donation for the local food bank.
CAN International Institute supports compassionate initiatives in cities, towns, counties, states and provinces, regions, nations, universities, faith groups, schools, service groups, and other places where human beings gather.
