School of Turkish Music
Session 3 - June 21-25 in Portland, Oregon
Dear friends,
Please register for the 3rd session of the MOA School of Turkish Music in Portland,
with Dr. Timucin Cevikoglu.
These classes are for beginner through advanced ilahi singers, and intermediate
through advanced instrumentalists and Ayin singers. Instruction in Ney, Ayin, Makam,
Percussion, voice, and all Turkish classical instruments.
Dr. Cevikoglu is a leading Vocalist, Ney Player, Percussionist, and researcher of Turkish
Classical and Devotional music. He has worked at the Turkish Ministry of Culture as an
artist and conductor, and helped establish and teaches in music programs at
Selcuk and Kocatepe Universities. He really is a very gifted teacher, and we are fortunate
to be working with him!

and the Mevlevi Mitrib. Download the Concert Flyer! A rare opportunity to hear Turkish

Also, Dr. Cevikoglu will be visiting the S.F. Bay Area after Portland, offering
