Hi John;

I plan to attend the meeting on June 2nd and so does Judy Sanderman and Dennis Wilkins of Project Ethiopia. You may remember our request a few months ago that our visitor from Ethiopia, Awoke Gentu, the 'onsite manager' of Project Ethiopia, be included as a presenter at the Interfaith Leadership Summit.

The date of August 10th works within his travel dates and he would be able to attend the summit at Camp Brotherhood.

Judy and Dennis have a Power Point presentation about Project Ethiopia if NICO/CAN desired to view it.

We will also need to compose a letter of intent so Awoke may recieve his VISA to travel to the US for this summit from NICO/CAN.
(There will be an additional letter from Interfaith Community Church inviting him to speak on Sunday August 9th.)

I have included some information about Project Ethiopia for you:

PROJECT ETHIOPIA ~ Safe Water, Latrines, Education
Join us to ensure all Ethiopians have these rights.
Mission Statement:
Project Ethiopia is a volunteer organization that, with local community support, helps rural Ethiopian school children have access to safe water, basic sanitation facilities and elementary education.
Plans for three rural schools include: Clean Water; Latrines at Schools; Uniforms for the very poor; Benches and Desks; Trachoma Treatment; Hygiene Education.
Project Ethiopia was founded by two Interfaith Community Church members, Judy Sanderman and Dennis Welkins, working with Awoke Genetu and his brother, Workineh within Ethiopia.

Be Blessed,
Karen
