Compassionate Seattle

I understand from John and Jon that there are a dozen or so of us from the greater Seattle area attending the Parliament in Melbourne.

Perhaps those of us who are attending the event on the 17th can have lunch together and discuss how we may coordinate and present CAN and its good work, including this pre-Parliament event. Local interreligious movement in the partner city, Seattle, may be featured in a Partner City Network video and CPWR's website, newsletter etc.

Thanks, John and Jon, for getting Seattle approved as a partner city!

Hello,

I, too, am delighted that John and Jon developed Seattle as a partner city. I didn't have the hutzpa to follow through as am attending the conference with the Association of Global New Thought. AGNT has created a pre-conference event in Melbourne, Dec 2nd and I am a part of this event. So far we have 125+ folks from around the world, www.agnt.org.

I need to leave after lunch as I am facilitating a wedding.

The Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions is offering all new registrants involved in our Seattle Pre-Parliament Event 10% off the current regular registration rate for the 2009 PWR as a way of saying "thank you" for your support.

CPWR gratefully acknowledges that the partner organizations of Seattle are playing a vital role in informing and exciting hundreds or even thousands of people about the 2009 PWR. We kindly request your help to make the 2009 Parliament the most successful one to date by sharing this discounted rate and limited opportunity to register for this historic event.

To ensure that all new registrants can secure this limited registration discount, please distribute this code:

to your liaisons at organizations that have helped to organize, host, or sponsor Seattle's Pre-Parliament Event. Feel free to welcome those liaisons, in turn, to distribute this code within their own organizations.

Please note: If you would prefer that we distribute this or future offers directly to these partner organizations, please feel free to send us the names and contact information (including email addresses) for those individuals in each organization who are/were most involved in the Seattle Pre-Parliament Event.

To use the code provided above, new registrants should log into the online registration system (here is the link: http://parliamentofreligions.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=15d4... ) and enter the code in the box that asks for "a special group code" on the first page of the registration process.

This is great Lynne. Did you host the Parliament session on Saturday? I want to add your name to the open space session topics summary. May I? Thanks! Lets get AGNT more involved with CAN!
