Hi Susan, thanks.. we're also doing some Restorative Circle work here in the Bay Area,  Sherry McCreedy

Hello fellow Compassionistas, Happy to meet you here.  We hope you will join our Restorative Circle group (here on CAN) and help us bring this pilot project into reality here in Seattle!

I've just completed a book called Practicing the Art of Compassionate Listening which contains a description of many skills and experiential exercises developed by the Compassionate Listening Project that can help people bring greater healing and peace into their daily lives. It includes meditations, journaling options, and exercises to do with one or many people - as well as "take-away" suggestions. Here's the link to purchase it: http://www.compassionatelistening.org/store/books.

Thanks for sending the Facebook invitation.  I'm reading "Facebook for Dummies" so for right now this site might be more. . . uh, accessible.  The technology of the social network mystifies me at times.  I need to borrow an 8th grader for a week.

I'll go back through some of the empathy materials we've developed in my congregations over the last few years--might be something that's immediately useful.  Great idea, Edwin!  This will be fun to create together.
