Dear Compassionistas!

We have launched the first iteration of the IICC site at:

http://www.compassionatecities.org/

For those of you who missed the announcement.  We have also been joined by our second Compassionate City, Basalt, Colorado and a huge thank you to Ari Cowen and David Chadwick for bringing this phase of work to fruition.  Warmly, Jeris

Hello - I'm sorry that this group has not been active since I was hired for a new fulltime position outside CAN six months ago. The good news is that an excellent team is now developing a new web strategy for CAN and the compassionate cities campaign. I'll ask them to keep this group updated with the progress. Thanks for your patience.

Kind Regards,

PamKM

This is great news for the Charter, even if it leaves a bit of a gap for CAN Communication. I would love to help with communication tasks for CAN or related groups, but I recently moved to Walla Walla, and can only contribute via the magic of technology.

Yes... thanks Pam for all your work. We are so proud of you and are looking forward to the next generation of collaboration around the charter. I stand ready to support the next iteration of the CAN Communications group. If you want to get involved, please contact me.

Good luck, Pam! Thanks for all you have contributed to CAN's journey forward. I know we will stay in touch and am grateful for that!

Pam: There's no doubt that the Charter will benefit immensely from your skills as their project manager. I'm presuming this will be an international position negotiated from the comfort of your home but with opportunities for travel and hanging with Karen. You go girl. Thanks for all you do.

NAMASTE, Eddie

Pam, thanks for all of the work you have done driving communications for CAN for more than two years! You've done a wonderful job keeping us all "on message" :-)

We will keep all of you informed as we transition roles and responsibilities.

Hello - I have a new fulltime job as project manager for the Charter for Compassion so I will no longer manage CAN communications. In the near-term please contact, Jon Ramer (j.ramer@comcast.net), Anil Singh-Molares (anil@echomundi.com), and/or Ari Cowan (ari.cowan@aricowan.net).

I'll remain an active member of CAN though! Thanks.

David Breaux's quotes from Davis that define Compassion are incredibly powerful. I propose adding a new place to the CAN home page that features one quote each week. Also, the compassionate cities campaign logo is so big and static. it would be nice to shrink it so there is fresh content above the fold when people first visit the home page. Of course, the campaign logo should still be visible at the top of the page somewhere.
