Compassionate Seattle

We are starting a discussion about fundraising for CAN. There are a number of strategies for how to accomplish this. The one that I want to start with is fund raising on line and adding a DonateNow button to the CAN site.

Does anyone have any experience with GroundSpring.org and Network for Good? We are considering signing up for their "donation processing service".

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a solution that would put a DonateNow button on the home page and process donations on our behalf. We are now a recognized 501c3.

I am also exploring ChipIn... www.chipin.com

Here's a background article from TechSoup that has been helpful.

Thanks!

we should implement that donate button now--groundspring sounds like a good alternative--why don't we just go with that?
This has now been implemented and is on the home page. We can tweak it and stylize it a bit more but it works... go ahead and make a donation!
Done! I encourage one and all to contribute before the end of the year, if you can. Any amount is welcome!
