Compassionate Seattle

Dear Friends, as many of you know I am working with a very amazing team similar to the CAN facilitation team to put together an ongoing, monthly forum that integrates the sacred with action. When participating with you all in Seattle, I felt that the open space forum provided a genuine and deep framework for this type of gathering. I'd like to start a discussion on what makes an all inclusive forum like this sustainable? Where is the balance between structure and allowance for the organic?

Please go to www.Sunyata.ws and click on my piece reflecting on Spirited Work. That was a sustainable Open Space learning community of practice that sustained almost 7 years, and during that time, we learned HOW to sustain it. We consciously laid it down when the energy left it. "When it's over, it's over."

I jsut asked Mark Jones to post my piece here, or at least to post a link. LOVE and thanks! Anne
