Topics Related to Compassion:
As an Interfaith Minister, psychotherapist and human being living in a world where different cultures and faiths seem to becoming more divided rather than less, I believe that compassion is a key to changing that. I see compassion as relating to the heart not the mind and the more open-hearted we are, the closer we are to being more open-minded and inclusive of others.

Hi - I am writing to ask for your support in creating a compassionate world. When I started the Compassionate Action Network I was hoping that social networks could be part of how we activate the will and find a way to make just and lasting change. I am grateful that you joined this network and I sincerely hope that it has made some difference in your life and your community.

It was the action part of compassionate action that got my attention. So now I invite you to be part of taking another step forward together. I ask that you take two minutes to join the 10 Year Campaign for Compassionate Cities if you haven’t already.

We need 1,000 people to join by March 15 to have the Mayor and City Council follow through on their end. If you personally join the campaign and share or send this on to others we will take a big collective step forward in building our capacity to make change happen. This is not just another petition, what you do will make a difference. You can learn more about this here

You don’t need to be a Seattle resident to join this campaign, and this idea is spreading. Campaigns have started or are starting in Vancouver, BC, Bellingham, Bellevue, Issaquah, Spokane, Portland, San Francisco, and London.

If there ever was a time to stand together and affirm that what each of us does and does not do makes a difference it is now. I ask that you find the time to add your name to the growing list of people awakening compassion in our cities and our world. Join here now

You're most welcome. You're presence alone is a statement of connection and support. It seems to me that one of the characteristics of the network is its broad flexibility. There's room for the types of involvement that best suit members — from support in spirit; to commentary, encouragement, and guidance; to encouraging others to jump in; to active participation in initiatives; to building one's own initiative. In short, I'm delighted you're here. — Ari
