We have created an event called One World 2011 which will take place in Seattle in Sept of 2011 and in the Muslim world in 2013. The event is global and will bring thousands of Muslims to the Seattle area to help break stereotypes. Similar to the 1990 Goodwill Games, it is supported by the US administration, the Russian Federation, Queen Rania of Jordan and many other leaders, NGO's, Foundations & businesses worldwide. Check website OneWorld 2011 for further information. Join us at this CRITICAL TIME! Less than 20% of most of the Muslim world has a favorable impression of the United States and one-fifth of the world's population is Muslim; a large percentage of the US has the same image of the Muslim world; almost 65% of the Muslim population is under 30 years of age--One World 2011 is the right thing to do! We have offices in Seattle, Amman, Istanbul, Dubai, Washington and Moscow. Join us in compassion in this massive exchange of cultures.

Hi - I am writing to ask for your support in creating a compassionate world. When I started the Compassionate Action Network I was hoping that social networks could be part of how we activate the will and find a way to make just and lasting change. I am grateful that you joined this network and I sincerely hope that it has made some difference in your life and your community.

It was the action part of compassionate action that got my attention. So now I invite you to be part of taking another step forward together. I ask that you take two minutes to join the 10 Year Campaign for Compassionate Cities if you haven’t already.

We need 1,000 people to join by March 15 to have the Mayor and City Council follow through on their end. If you personally join the campaign and share or send this on to others we will take a big collective step forward in building our capacity to make change happen. This is not just another petition, what you do will make a difference. You can learn more about this here

You don’t need to be a Seattle resident to join this campaign, and this idea is spreading. Campaigns have started or are starting in Vancouver, BC, Bellingham, Bellevue, Issaquah, Spokane, Portland, San Francisco, and London.

If there ever was a time to stand together and affirm that what each of us does and does not do makes a difference it is now. I ask that you find the time to add your name to the growing list of people awakening compassion in our cities and our world. Join here now
