Hi, I am Felix Mukuru Abwoya from KENYA East Africa and I humbly request you to like HuRInOBuHeRI page on Facebook and also consider supporting me. This is a community organization that I have set up in a slum area here to support orphaned and vulnerable children so they can have access to education and opportunities that could enable them to escape from the cycle of poverty in which they live. The name HuRInOBuHeRI is a phrase in LUHYA which is the local language here in rural western KENYA and it means "we have COMPASSION"

Thanks and Regards

Hi - I am writing to ask for your support in creating a compassionate world. When I started the Compassionate Action Network I was hoping that social networks could be part of how we activate the will and find a way to make just and lasting change. I am grateful that you joined this network and I sincerely hope that it has made some difference in your life and your community.

It was the action part of compassionate action that got my attention. So now I invite you to be part of taking another step forward together. I ask that you take two minutes to join the 10 Year Campaign for Compassionate Cities if you haven’t already.

We need 1,000 people to join by March 15 to have the Mayor and City Council follow through on their end. If you personally join the campaign and share or send this on to others we will take a big collective step forward in building our capacity to make change happen. This is not just another petition, what you do will make a difference. You can learn more about this here

You don’t need to be a Seattle resident to join this campaign, and this idea is spreading. Campaigns have started or are starting in Vancouver, BC, Bellingham, Bellevue, Issaquah, Spokane, Portland, San Francisco, and London.

If there ever was a time to stand together and affirm that what each of us does and does not do makes a difference it is now. I ask that you find the time to add your name to the growing list of people awakening compassion in our cities and our world. Join here now
