Voices of Compassion Part XXXVI

More concepts on compassion from the corner of 3rd & C in Davis, California: Feeling for our fellow creatures and being moved to acknowledge them, commune with them, and allow oneself to be inspired by others' pain, sorrows, or joy. A beautiful place in your heart for someone other than yourself. Compassion is allowing love to flow out of you while at the same time being able to allow it in. Helping those in need without repayment. One selfless act a man (person) can do just…See More

Voices of Compassion Part XXXIV (Unique Varieties of Concepts)

The 34th installment of Voices of Compassion from folks in Davis, California-- Compassion is knowing that others may suffer the same tribulations as you are. Compassion goes beyond just that. It's when you act on that knowledge and use it in your interactions with others. Compassion is suppose to make the world better. We need more of it still. Compassion is a life-long verb. It's giving someone the benefit of the doubt even when you have all reason not to, it's believing the world is beautiful…See More

Voices of Compassion Part XXXIII

More concepts on compassion from the corner of 3rd and C in Davis, California USA-- Compassion is when one is able to feel for the joys and sorrows of life experienced by others. Compassion is what makes humans capable of caring for one another despite the circumstances. Compassion is acceptance and love for all of life. We are all connected--all one. Compassion is love, period. Compassion: to be moved in your guts by the brokenness around you. BEING HUMAN--listening to your inner emotion and…See More

More interesting concepts on compassion from the Compassion Corner in Davis, California-- Caring for everyone regardless of their background. Love that is unconditional. One that extends to those who are deserving and also undeserving of it as well. To wish for the greatest good of everyone. Compassion is more than the love you share to family and friends, but the love you receive from God in order to give that love to others. Compassion is NOT BEING REPOGNICANT!!! Compassion is giving every…See More

Voices of Compassion Part XXX

Alas, the 30th installment from people who shared at the corner of 3rd & C in Davis, California-- Compassion is driven by norms of human interaction. Those norms should be instructed by rules created by Rousseau's unknowing man as per his ideal of the social contract. Compassion is a concept that we use to access certain aspects of the world. In a way it is like a representational mapping of our inner self; a way to bring us close to the world around us, and help us find meaning as we…See More

Compassion is having a broad view of the world and trying to understand what life is like for other creatures.

Compassion is empathy within your love.

Un-yieldingly powerful value, devotion, or connection to a person or thing; project, idea or otherwise.

Hi David - thanks so much for the approach and the video link, which I have passed on to my various networks (in education and elsewhere)... am sorry I have taken so long to reply/acknowledge - am in the middle of moving and my house/office space is a mess and there's been no time/space to focus on anything other than the domestic... that will change in the next week or so... again, thank you....

Thanks David. Imho, a professional videographer in your area should do at least a brief story on your good work.
