Hi - I am writing to ask for your support in creating a compassionate world. When I started the Compassionate Action Network I was hoping that social networks could be part of how we activate the will and find a way to make just and lasting change. I am grateful that you joined this network and I sincerely hope that it has made some difference in your life and your community.

It was the action part of compassionate action that got my attention. So now I invite you to be part of taking another step forward together. I ask that you take two minutes to join the 10 Year Campaign for Compassionate Cities if you haven’t already.

We need 1,000 people to join by March 15 to have the Mayor and City Council follow through on their end. If you personally join the campaign and share or send this on to others we will take a big collective step forward in building our capacity to make change happen. This is not just another petition, what you do will make a difference. You can learn more about this here

You don’t need to be a Seattle resident to join this campaign, and this idea is spreading. Campaigns have started or are starting in Vancouver, BC, Bellingham, Bellevue, Issaquah, Spokane, Portland, San Francisco, and London.

If there ever was a time to stand together and affirm that what each of us does and does not do makes a difference it is now. I ask that you find the time to add your name to the growing list of people awakening compassion in our cities and our world. Join here now

Hi, Duff, Thank you for taking the time to write this note. It is good to meet you and to learn about your work. I have heard a lot about it and now am inspired to meet the founder. Regarding your attached flyer, I was not able to download it...so I hope you try another method.

It is wonderful to hear about the success with your initiatives. As far as connecting and exchanging on our organizations, I have to say that I helped produce the first major Awakening the Dreamer event here in December 07, which drew many NW networks together, and then after supported 2 facilitator trainings, out of which a growing Awakening the Dreamer NW community of facilitators has been developing. Now there over 100 facilitators since the latest training, which occured last week on Vachon Island. Victor Bremson, on this list has become an ATD trainer of facilitators and coordinated that training with several other local trainers, and ATD facilitators. I was not a part of that though I did want to go and meet the new facilitators and some of the Pachamama staff. You should know that the Pachamama ATD NW community activity is now a shared leadership group, is self organizing. I am not the spokesperson but there are many who would welcome you into the community which supports the work of Pachamama here and in the Bay area. I will invite you to that community, many of them are members of this group. So you can look forward to connecting with many, and I will look forward to your flyer, and in between I am happy to meet with you in person any time. I will use your phone number.
I admire your great contribution to Seattle and the NW.
Susan
