Gary Beene said… It fascinates and frustrates me that there is still a powerful belief among certain groups of reactionary thinkers (and I do not just mean America's religious right) that the enlightenment in some way negates human spirituality. From another point of view, quite the opposite could be true.

Somehow I will get involved. I am a recently retired nurse and also have a small farm. When this small farm is ready, I want to use it for teaching our mutual values of compassion, generosity and wisdom. I will be in touch.
