Welcome James to our expanding global community! we hope that since you joined you were able to find some time to familiarize yourself with this site.

If not and if you have some time now, may we suggest a good next step is to click on the "My Page" tab to update your profile photo; this makes the network more personal. You can also stylize your personal page and share your passion, gifts and talents that you wish to offer. Thank you, James, for letting us know that you care about about feeding those who hunger. that fire that is burning in you is noble indeed.

You can click on About CAN http://my.compassionateactionnetwork.com/page/about-the-compassionate-action tab to learn about our history, vision, mission, and guiding principles. There is also a Get Started page to help with the basics.

Hopefully you'll be inspired by the resources: in the media tab http://my.compassionateactionnetwork.com/video there are over 300 videos and photos; members can post events and news that promote a compassionate world

We are excited about the 2,100 + members spanning over 130 countries, many of whom join groups http://my.compassionateactionnetwork.com/groupsrelated to areas of interest (e.g. education, youth, interspiritual, compassion in business, etc.). According to Florynce Kennedy: "Don't agonize. Organize."

May your time here on CAN further motivate you and the opportunities you bring for connected engagement and mutual support. This we do, we do together, for the empowerment and the benefit of all. Martin Luther King, Jr said: "Life's most urgent question is, what are you doing for others?" Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.

Christina,
