Hi - I am writing to ask for your support in creating a compassionate world. When I started the Compassionate Action Network I was hoping that social networks could be part of how we activate the will and find a way to make just and lasting change. I am grateful that you joined this network and I sincerely hope that it has made some difference in your life and your community.

It was the action part of compassionate action that got my attention. So now I invite you to be part of taking another step forward together. I ask that you take two minutes to join the 10 Year Campaign for Compassionate Cities if you haven’t already.

We need 1,000 people to join by March 15 to have the Mayor and City Council follow through on their end. If you personally join the campaign and share or send this on to others we will take a big collective step forward in building our capacity to make change happen. This is not just another petition, what you do will make a difference. You can learn more about this here

You don’t need to be a Seattle resident to join this campaign, and this idea is spreading. Campaigns have started or are starting in Vancouver, BC, Bellingham, Bellevue, Issaquah, Spokane, Portland, San Francisco, and London.

If there ever was a time to stand together and affirm that what each of us does and does not do makes a difference it is now. I ask that you find the time to add your name to the growing list of people awakening compassion in our cities and our world. Join here now

Welcome, Jerome! After the Charter for Compassion Event, I look forward to more activities on CAN. Hope you'll make it to Open Space on 10/17 and perhaps we can brainstorm what Charter for Compassion Event we may put on for the NW on 11/12.

Enjoy this circle!

Jerome -- Please post "A feeling of interconnectedness with all beings and being able to feel the suffering of others along with a desire to help alleviate the suffering and be a positive force for change." on top of your "My Page" above. That will send it to the Latest Activity Feed on the home page. Make sense? Scroll to the top of this page.
