A Step Towards Toledo, OH as Compassionate Community - Honoring Heroes of Compassion

The MultiFaith Council of NW Ohio is honoring 18 individuals or organizations in our community for their extraordinary works of compassion.  At a banquet which starts with an Erase the Hate Youth Festival and a reception with appetizers and informational faith displays, some 310 guests will attend the ceremony and then dine and converse with new friends and old from a dozen different faith traditions.This article from the Toledo Blade describes the initiative -…See More

"I will try.  It is somewhat dependent on my duties on the NAIN Board.  We have Board meetings prior to the Connect proper.  Hopefully we will be finished in time to go to the Gurdwara and be back in time for the film."

We celebrate a decade of multifaith harmony by launching a campaign to designate Greater Toledo a Compassionate Community. Displays, a panel, a video of local clergy and table discussions - all centered on compassion.
