Steve — I just noticed that you've joined us here on the Compassionate Action Network. Welcome. How wonderful to have you with us. If you haven't done so already, please consider joining the Ten Year Campaign for Compassionate Cities. I'd love to see you become a part of this important and rewarding initiative. If we get the support of at least 1,000 people by March 15, 2010, then the City of Seattle will affirm the Charter for Compassion — a first step in connecting people for compassionate action. My understanding is that you don't have to be from Seattle to sign on. Right now, we need 367 more signatures to reach that goal. Please take just a moment to add your name. And please invite others to do the same.

Also, I posted a wonderful music video from Amnesty International — "The Price of Silence." It's well worth viewing.
