Compassionate Seattle and the Compassionate Action Network have had a close working relationship with TED, the TED Prize and with Karen Armstrong. In 2008 Karen was awarded the TED Prize, the same year that the Seeds of Compassion with His Holiness the Dalai Lama happened here in Seattle.
