Compassionate Seattle

Hello Again,

I would like to, this time, more officially express that I join my voice to those who feel this way.

We are outraged at what has happened in our world. We are deeply pained by what we see. We are taking action, to do what we can to build a different world. We are starting with ourselves, and figuring out how to embody that which we wish to see in the world. To look at ourselves honestly, and see what we have contributed to this mess. And to see what we can contribute to making the change.

We see that even though we are outraged, raging is not the answer.

We believe that fighting is not the answer. Pointing fingers is not the answer. Creative, Sacred Action is called for. Action that is fierce, and gentle, and whatever else it needs to be, to keep the channels of communication open. It is soulful, because it seeks to influnece through the essence of wisdom, with the resolve to go deep within the issues at hand, get messy, and sticky, and do the hands on work necessary. There is wisdom and medicine is saying, "I don't know".

We are bored, and feel stifled by authoriatarian institutions, who pressure us to be mindless droans. Ignoring our experiences, our uniqueness, our capacity to know our own truths. We are frustrated at repeated attempts to solve old problems with old solutions.

We see paperwork and beurocrocy as a plague. Powerful weapons to stick and glue down change. We'd rather replace those technologies with other ones, such as trust, emotional connections, community.

We want so badly to vision big, to act on those visions, even with continued pressure to be small, craving only shopping, working, and television. And we do. We are visioning big. And acting.

We want to run, not crawl.

We are not mentally ill, requiring us to be put on many medications. We are intelligent, awake indiviuduals who see our potential through the eyes of the cosmos. And we won't shut up.

No amount of humiliation, threatening, torture, postering, abuse, or agony will deter us from abandoning the program which has been seeking to enslave humanity for a very long time. For what greater pain is there, than a body that fights itself?

In truth, we don't believe that things have to be hard, or fear based. And we are doing what we can to put those programs within ourselves in the trash.

We want the stories of abuse to come out. We want those who have been carrying the weight of the world in disproportionate amounts, to be heard, and seen. And nurtured. And hugged. And loved. And Apologized to. And cried over. We, ourselves, want to know those stories. And sobb for hours. And beg forgiveness. On behalf of all that is. We want to wash their feet. Invite them back into the circle. Cloth them. Feed them. In every way.

We want to, ourselves, tell our stories of abuse, humiliation, torture, neglect. So we can also be apologized to, and forgiven. We want to see the world as it really is. We want to see the beauty, and the horror. Even if it drops us to our knees. Because we want to address the condition of human suffering in the world. As it really is. So that it really works. When we try to put it to an end.

We want to also be kind to ourselves. Respect our bodies as our temples. And not take on more than we can handle. We want to share the work, and the yield.

We don't have all the answers. We just act, and learn. As we go. Through experience.

This is not a burden to us. It is a calling. A desire. A pulse. A need. A commitiment. An elixir for the soul. Oxygen to the bird. Water to the fish. I hope you get where I'm going with this.

Without the ability to behave in such ways, life is meaningless and empty to us.

And for the mother. The Earth. We want all the same things. To clean her. To wash her. To do her nails. To do her hair. To dress her in her finest robes. And make her a goddess again.

We want people to discover play. And joy. To break free of confining, disempowering, self-loathing generated thoughts. As we ourselves click those same programs within ourselves into the trash.

We don't want to be lead by people, who think like thugs. We want to be sovereign, and lead ourselves, together. In concert.

We are like plants. We will even break through concrete to find the light. We are interested in life. And know through observation and experience, that life finds its way through even the most dense, and tightly packed containers. For really, matter is mostly space. And this experience is a matter of possibility waiting to be told by us what to be.

And even though it may look like we don't exist. We do. Everywhere. We may not have all the tools and help we need yet. To function at our full capacity. We may not be able to have our voices heard and our actions seen. But we are doing it. Acting. Like seeds do underneath the surface. Where they can't be seen. And eventually our actions become sprouts, that show through the earth. And whether we are at seed, sprout, or leaf, we hold the vision within ourselves of the oak tree.

We want to be seen. And heard. And taken seriously.

And we want so much more, but no need to spill all the beans in one communication.

You are probably one of these people. How else could it be that we meet?

With lots of Love,

Armen
