I think we all can remember where we were when the planes hit or when we heard about them first on 9/11. Perhaps you might even remember what you were wearing, who you were with, and experience a distinct feeling surrounding that imprinted memory.
As you know the 10th anniversary of 9/11 is right around the corner, and a number of remarkable events are happening both in Seattle and globally via webcast where thousands, if not millions, will take part in a global game-changer: ONE: The EVENT. MAKE THE SHIFT from Fear to Love, focused on transforming the fear and separation into unity, peace, and global healing.
Can you think of a more powerful opportunity to instantly shift our world than this anniversary?
On September, 11, 2001 and the following days, people spontaneously gathered all around the US and the world in one of the most powerful displays of our basic goodness by expressing deep and genuine empathy towards their fellow humans who had suffered so greatly. Many went even further by expressing their hope for their fellow humans to refrain from losing sight of basic goodness by not turning their minds towards fear, violence and revenge.
Ten years later, on 9/11/11, once again we will gather across the globe to reflect on the events of the last ten years and more importantly, to come together and turn our thoughts and hearts once again towards our basic goodness and to choose empathy, compassion and peace over fear and violence.
We will begin the day on 9/11 early for 10+Seattle A Day of Reflection at Seattle Center at the International Fountain from 5am to 10am and staying for One the Event at 12pm in Memorial Stadium. :
