I apologize I deleted a comment regarding the fact all the events for the Charter for Compassion are in the Seattle area, and therefore too far for some to be able to attend. It is special to be able to join with others in person. It gives you a sense of community. I understand that there will be an option to participate online at CharterforCompassion.org.

Yes, it's exciting. It is a very important step towards a more compassionate world. It will be wonderful to see the networks interweave, and share communications more and more.

Thanks Lynn! Yes, last week I reviewed all of the events listed on the Charter for Compassion site and discovered that perhaps 4 or 5 events are happening in Seattle. It would be great if someone has time to contact those organizers and suggest they post their events on the CAN site too.

It was VERY interesting to see which regions of the world are actively involved with raising awareness of the Charter. When the CAN organization and website is ready to launch a global awareness and outreach campaign, we should contact organizations in those regions for possible future collaborations. Now that I think about it, I'll add this idea to the Communications group. :)
