The Preventive System in the education of youth.

"This system relies entirely on reason, religion and love, excludes therefore all attempts to avert violent punishment and even soft. These three elements are indispensable in the educational system of Don Bosco and its implementation must be done by combining all three simultaneously.
Reason suggests the use of dialogue, realistic and practical vision of each. It has to do with common sense, implementation, adherence to the reality of youth, flexibility in the plans and the anticipation in the educational goals. The reason is also understood to:
- Source of ideas and proposals to change behavior.
- Help to value life and things deeply and critically.
- Discovering the value of earthly realities with their own autonomy.
- Ability to discover human effort in the learning process.
Religion is the principle and goal of all its educational task. For Don Bosco can not educate if there is no religious dimension, if not made a personal encounter with Jesus Christ, which leads to the voluntary adherence to his person and leads to true freedom of the sons of God. Don Bosco's faith was a living faith, vibrant and joyously celebrated. Without this dimension of transcendence, any educational project is incomplete. Through it favors the following types of experiences:
- Respect for the different situations of relationship between people and God.
- Meeting between the person and God loves us as we are.
- Home of truth and goodness that beats within each person.
- Dialogue between faith, science and culture of the environment.
Love is the supreme principle of the methodology of Don Bosco. This love is born in a context of friendship, sympathy and sincere passion for the young poor and needy. Goodness is expressed in the host coated attitudes, confidence and family spirit that facilitate understanding, harmony, optimism and joy. For the sake of the boy, make him feel loved by the educator. There is writing everything to be with him, respect him, listen, understand, help, guide, provide media training. The word he uses Don Bosco is "amorevolezza", a love manifested. If there is love, there will be trust and mutual esteem, and therefore aid conditions and change. He tries to live as:
- Unconditional welcome of people.
- Relationship constructive and rich in educational proposals.
- Participation in the joys and sorrows of others.
- Ability to translate into concrete signs love education.

Taking all this into account, education is the great art form man and provide valid benchmarks to which to anchor their lives. His approach stems from the careful and loving presence among young people, this presence gives us the knowledge of them, because it connects with them there where they live. Try to promote, encourage, grow, encourage the person to become what it originally was and should be.
