I'm a Virtual Community Organizer , the daugher of Jon and Tova Ramer, and today a participant in Change.org's Blog Action Day : Climate Change. Today over 7,000 bloggers are posting about climate change in order to raise awareness and inspire compassionate action.

1] Immediately banish coal fired power plants
2] Drive and fly less, utilizing public transport, biking and walking
3] Implement alternative, green technologies with public subsidies (from the military industrial complex)

All these efforts and more will come to naught provided we do not immediately cease and desist from logging ancient forests. They are the virtual LUNGS OF THE EARTH, providing the very air we breathe while quietly sequestering the CO2 and greenhouse gasses which are delivering us to the brink. We ignore this at our peril.
