Occupying 100% Empathy and Compassion for All @ Occupy Oakland General Strike

I went to the Oakland General Strike and talked with people about the need for Occupying 100% Empathy. There was a lot of great music and energy. Here's the video.

I asked, What does building a culture of empathy mean to you?
"It starts with listening"....
"We have to start caring about each other, do you know what I mean?"...
"It's caring and understanding for my neighbors and looking after everyone."... "You need to first work for empathy in yourself, your personal life and your family"...
"There are practices that help with that, mediation...
It's true we need to even have empathy for the 1%...
because we are conditioned by capitalism to be greedy."....
